This page is maintained by Anfield Anywhere to explain what information the app handles, where it is stored, and how third-party services are used. This policy reflects the current app design and may be updated as the app evolves.
Anfield Anywhere does not collect, process, or store any personal data. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other information that identifies you. The app is designed to work without knowing who you are.
The only settings the app remembers are your country code and your Spoiler Shield preference. These are stored locally in your browser using localStorage and remain on your device only. They are not transmitted to our servers, not shared with third parties, and are deleted when you clear your browser data for this site.
The app fetches Liverpool FC fixture data and news headlines from third-party APIs (such as API-Football and GNews). These requests go through our own Supabase backend, which does not add any user identifiers to the calls. The third-party providers only see the information needed to return sports data, not who requested it.
We do not store your IP address, browsing history, or any other usage data on our servers. Cached fixture, news, and league table data is held anonymously in the database and is not linked to individual users.
Anfield Anywhere does not require user accounts, passwords, or social logins. You can open the app and use every feature immediately. Because there is no account system, there is no account data to protect, delete, or breach.
The app does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising identifiers. The only cookies or storage entries are those created by the app itself to remember your local preferences.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the text on this page. The app is built to minimise data handling, so significant changes are unlikely.
Anfield Anywhere is an independent, unofficial fan app created by supporters, for supporters. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Liverpool Football Club, the Premier League, or any official Liverpool FC entity. All club names, crests, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
